Shakespeare’s The Two Gentlemen of Verona is one the whole family can enjoy, and full of comedic relief. Bosom buddies Valentine and Proteus are Verona’s closest comrades, but their friendship is put to the ultimate test when Proteus forsakes his beloved Julia and competes for the affections of Valentine’s newfound love, the strong-willed Silvia.

Tickets start at $15 (Youth) $25 (Adult) and vary in service and assigned seating.

In a beautiful Lake Tahoe park setting, kick off the summer with refreshing libations from over 20 breweries and cider distributors at the 7th Annual Truckee Optimist Brew Fest on June 9th from 1-5pm! Enjoy live music by “Drop Theory” while diving into brats and sausages fresh off  the barbecue. Place your bid for the silent auction and be sure to purchase a souvenir t-shirt on your way out!

Kick off an early fall at The Village at Squaw with over 40 vineyards, benefiting Can Do Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at the 23rd Annual Alpen Wine Festival. Your $40 donation at the door includes a commemorative crystal wine glass and supports the leading organization in empowering the healthy lifestyles of people with MS and their life partners. Enjoy live music, and peruse the silent auction and raffle, where you could score Squaw Valley Lodging packages.

Now that you have whet your appetite for harvest season, head out to The Lake Tahoe Autumn Food & Wine Festival next weekend and support our local chefs as they compete for top culinary prizes!

Over 150 artists from around the nation will be on display for this juried art affair! Patrons will be able to peruse mediums such as paintings, sculpture, jewelry, photography, pottery and much more. All artists will be on hand for visitors to learn their inspiration for their masterpieces and even purchase a customized piece to fit each unique individual.

The event is complimentary and open for viewing 10am to 5pm.
