North Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts’ Opening Day 2012/13

First snow on 10/22/12 left Squaw with a 28" base.

With 2 to 3 feet of fresh snow on the ground in the past 24 hours, of course the only thing on our mind is Opening Day around Lake Tahoe.

We’re ready to ski. We’re ready to ride. We’re ready for bluebird days. We’re ready for our first KT lines. We’re ready for après ski, basking in the Tahoe sun; a cold brewskie or a hot toddy in hand.

Here’s the skinny on dates:

Alpine Meadows: December 7

Boreal: October 26

Diamond Peak: December 13

Donner Ski Ranch: TBD

Homewood: TBD

Northstar: November 16

Squaw Valley: November 16

Sugar Bowl: November 17

Have you heard about Squaw/Alpine’s new partnership with Sierra-at-Tahoe?! New and existing gold and silver passholders will now be able to ski/ride Sierra-at-Tahoe Sunday-Friday, non-holiday. Be sure to get your Tahoe Super Pass Plus!
