Chocolate, Wine & Roses Festival: Paradise Under the Stars

November 3, 2012 | 7-10pm | $75/advance or $85/door

It shouldn’t take much convincing to get you to this delectable fall event of chocolate and wine! This fundraiser, hosted by Tahoe SAFE Alliance and Project MANA, is in its 24th year and a vital part of keeping the local community safe and fed. All proceeds benefit community programs such as violence prevention and education, and community food distribution.

Guests will enjoy a night ofParadise Under the Stars inspired by the prohibition days of circa-1920 Havana. In fact, all are encouraged to dress to the nines and relish the Cuban borders opening for one night only!

Wanderlust California is back at Squaw Valley for another year of non-stop action; a huge festival that artfully brings together the world’s leading yoga teachers, top musical acts and DJs, notable speakers, renowned chefs, and winemakers for a 4-day event like no other!

Lake Tahoe June Events: Tahoe City Wine Walk

What is better than summer-time shopping, sipping and eating along the beautiful streets of Tahoe City? Sponsored by the Tahoe City Downtown Association, the Tahoe City Wine Walk kicks off the Tahoe City Solstice Festival on June 23, 2012 from 12pm-4pm, rain or shine!

“Discover Wines with a View” while you stroll along the lakefront boardwalk through Tahoe City, entertained by live music, sampling local and regional wines and delectable food from local Tahoe restaurants and caterers. Check out what the Tahoe City Downtown Association has put together for The Solstice Festival:

“The Solstice Festival celebrates the start of summer by showcasing Tahoe City through a variety of events designed to encourage visitation in our beautiful downtown. The Tahoe City Wine Walk features wines of the Sierra and food tastings at local merchants and restaurants throughout downtown. Other festival events include a Solstice Stroll Classic Car Show, PaddleFest on the shores of Lake Tahoe, and the opening of the summer series Concerts at Commons Beach. During the Wine Walk, outdoor live music will be at both ends of the lakefront boardwalk.”

  • Boatworks Mall (East end of town)
  • Heritage Plaza (center of town);
