2018 North Lake Tahoe SnowFest: Fun For the Family!

One of the Tahoe’s most beloved events for locals and visitors alike returns on March 1st and runs through March 11th, celebrating the beauty of the Sierras blanketed in white – a winter carnival jam packed full of activities for the whole family! Don’t miss Tahoe’s very own Mardi Gras style winter carnival.

With the recent snow and big snowstorms headed our way (we could see up to 5-8 feet of snow in a week!) we’re excited to kick off the festivities with the Polar Bear Swim and Queen Coronation hosted by Garwoods Restaurant. Over the years we’ve tallied up our favorite events during the week and here are some that top the list:

Polar Bear Swim

Tahoe City and Kings Beach Parade

Tahoe Donner’s Annual I-Did-A-Run

Bridgetender’s Annual Ribfest

Pete n’ Peter’s Bar Olympics
